How do I prepare for my Lash Line procedure?
The lash line is the most delicate area Holly works on. These steps keep your eyes calm and comfortable.
2 weeks before
- Lash serums (like Latisse): stop 2 weeks before.
- Lash lift, tint or perm: none for 2 weeks.
- Lash extensions: remove at least 1 week before.
The last few days
- No alcohol or caffeine for 24 hours.
- Skip aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil and vitamin E for 48 hours, only if your doctor agrees.
- Your eyes should be healthy: no stye, infection or irritation.
On the day
- Come with clean eyes: no makeup, creams or oils near the lashes.
- Wear glasses, not contact lenses.
- Bring sunglasses. Eyes may feel sensitive to light for a few hours.
Please tell Holly before your visit if you had eye surgery (LASIK or cataract) in the last 6 months, have glaucoma or dry eye, or are pregnant or nursing.
How do I care for my lash line after the procedure?
Day 1 · tonight
- Before bed, very gently wipe the lash line with a clean cotton pad and plain water, in one direction only: from the outer corner toward the inner corner.
- Then apply a thin layer of the healing cream.
Day 2 to day 7 · dry healing
- Keep the lash line dry: no water, steam, sauna, pool or workouts.
- No mascara, eyeliner or eye creams.
- Don’t rub your eyes. If the area gets wet while washing, in the shower or from tears, gently pat dry with a clean tissue.
- No contact lenses for 3 days. No lash extensions or strip lashes until healed.
What to expect
- Days 1–3: a little bolder and puffy. This is normal.
- Days 4–7: light flaking along the lash line.
- Weeks 2–4: healed and soft: 40–60% of the color fades. The Perfecting Session completes it.
After healing
- Start with new mascara and eyeliner.
- Perfecting Session 4–6 weeks after your visit. Color Refresh when about 60–70% of the color has faded, usually between year 1 and year 3.

Call Holly and your doctor if you have eye pain, changes in vision, discharge or spreading redness.
Does it hurt?
Most clients describe it as very comfortable. Numbing is used throughout, and some clients even fall asleep. One client compared it to Botox: “you know exactly what it feels like — it’s not even that bad.”
Do I need to remove lash extensions?
Yes — please come without extensions or lash lift. Holly will tell you what to do before your appointment in your pre-care instructions.
How much does it really cost?
The price is always told up front. The procedure plus the Perfecting Session 4–6 weeks later make the full journey. The follow-up after that is complimentary. There is no deposit to book.
